Hedycarya aborea 'Pigeon Wood'

A commonly grown forest tree that has attractive long oval leaves that are slightly serrated in a dark glossy green. As suggested by the name, produces bright red/orange berries that Wood Pigeon's just love. Both a male and female tree is needed to produce the berries from the fragrant flowers. Frost tender when young.
